Michele Mathes

Michele Mathes previously served as CARIE’s Director of Education, in which capacity she had responsibility for the development of CARIE’s long term care ethics education program. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and its Law School, Michele was the Senior Associate at the Center for Ethics and Professionalism of the American College of Physicians (2011 – 2013) and serves as adjunct faculty at the Bryn Maw College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and the Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions and its College of Medicine. She has published and presented regionally and nationally on issues of health care law and ethics, aging, and conflict resolution.
