The State of Guardianship in Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Department of Aging posted the final results of the 2012 CARIE study of guardianship in Pennsylvania, CARIE Guardianship Report 2013 and Appendix A-M.  CARIE wishes to acknowledge the support and thank Secretary Duke, the staff at the Department of Aging, and the many others who shared their time and expertise in completing the study. On November 20, 2013, Diane Menio testified before the Pennsylvania House Aging & Older Adult Services Committee about Elder Abuse in Pennsylvania.  Here is a copy of the guardianship recommendations referenced in the testimony.
